Mary Ellen is the Clinical Director of Newtown Psychotherapy & Life Coaching Center. She has experience in a number of clinical settings, including;
most recently, a School Counselor at a private school, The Career & Counseling Center at Bucks County Community College, Foundations Behavioral Health and Millhill Child & Family Counseling Clinic.
Mary Ellen lives in Bucks County, where together with her husband she raised three children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family & friends, tennis, running, gardening and reading.

Mary Ellen Cook is a licensed Psychological Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. She treats clients facing depression, anxiety, difficult life transitions, loss and grief, post-traumatic stress, relationship concerns, anger management issues, ADD, ADHD, family conflict and social issues.
Mary Ellen works with children, teens and adults through individual, family and couples counseling. She draws upon a variety of approaches to help clients develop self-awareness and lead better, healthier lives. Her clients respond to her compassionate and collaborative style, which promotes personal growth and healing.
Merta Chrin is a licensed Psychological Counselor with over twenty years of experience working with young people. She spent a number of years as a teacher before becoming a therapist. One of her areas of focus is helping children and teens through difficult times. These may include; depression, anxiety, stress, family problems or trouble at school. Merta also specializes in treating clients of all ages who face drug and/or alcohol problems. Her gentle nature and years of experience enable her to form strong therapeutic relationships with her clients.
